She is is especially passionate about working with textured hair and is certified, ready to work with every hair type and texture, and notorious for pleasant customer service, Pam is now taking clients in Evanston.
Ursa
Senior Master Stylist
Ursa is a stylist with heart and passion for what she does. Working with her clients to achieve their goals, creating a space of trust and creativity, drives Ursa each day. With over 22 years in the hair industry, Ursa has fully immersed herself in the world of hair, including salon ownership, tv/theatrical makeup & whimsical special occasion hair. Her specialties include texture smoothing systems, extensions, grey blending, & blonding. Curly girls like herself hold special place in her heart. When she isn't in the salon, she enjoys all things social & creative.
Margaret
Senior Master Stylist

Margaret (Mary) loves what she does behind the chair. With almost two decades of experience, she is passionate about utilizing her expertise with Aveda color to make her clients feel comfortable, confident and like their best selves. Although she specializes in highlights, blonding, balayage, foilyage and color corrections, Margaret also loves a good bob or pixie cut! As a mom herself, she finds deep meaning in connecting with other moms along their prenatal and postpartum journey.
Lexa
Professional Stylist
Lexa has been hands-on and constantly pushing herself with the opportunity of education in the world of beauty since '12. Both an esthetician and cosmetologist; clients should be prepared to be relaxed and taken care of when seated for an excellent service. Lexa lives for sleek, bouncy blowouts and creative Aveda color. Whether your makeup needs are more avant-garde or natural, Lexa is certified to deliver. Lexa is able to elevate you to a higher platform of beauty when you are in her chair.​
Dalayne

Dalayne is so excited to be on the floor with Gordon Salon. Born and raised in Michigan, she has always had a love for the beauty industry. She graduated from the Douglas J. Aveda Institute in 2019 and moved to Chicago in 2021 to start her career. Expressing herself artistically and building friendships with clients would be her favorite aspect of doing hair. Some of her favorite services to perform are vivid bright colors and alternative haircuts.
Imani
Makeup Artist

Imani is our in-house esthetician. Whether your desire is skincare or makeup, she's got you covered! Her love for makeup started in middle school, when she would do her friends' makeup and continued at the Tricoci University. Working with clients on their skincare routine is especially important for Imani, as it can benefit their makeup and lifestyle! Giving her knowledge and helping clients feel more confident excites Imani about her work.
Jacob

Jacob is an Aveda colorist specializing in custom hair color services that achieve your desired outcome. Whether you're looking to add dimensional highlights and lowlights, rock a fresh sun-kissed balayage, perfect your white blonde bleach touchup, or anything in between, he's got you covered! With nearly a decade of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, Jacob has worked alongside and gained invaluable insights from some of the beauty industry's leading professionals. Immersed in the world of hair color since the age of 15, Jacob was nurtured by his family and friends who also work in the beauty industry, and he officially began his journey with Aveda in 2015. Since then, he has collaborated with several other prestige brands to refine his skills and aspire towards becoming an educator. During his free time, Jacob indulges in hobbies such as playing the violin, cultivating an impressive collection of plants (some of which now thrive within our Evanston location), and caring for his two beloved dogs.

In the industry for over a decade, Lily still finds excitement in the process of doing hair and hair color applications. With a passion for color from vivids to your everyday highlight, and cuts, They have a wealth of experience and knowledge. They also spend time honing their craft, and continually educate themselves on the latest color application techniques.
Rachel

Rachel is training to be a haircutting and styling specialist and is well versed in all types of haircuts. She loves a fun, creative haircut - be it a shag to a mullet. Rachel has a desire to give back to the community, offering gender-affirming haircuts to empower individuals to be oneself authentically.

Introducing Cat, a vibrant and artistic hairstylist with a unique flair! After diving into beauty school right after high school, Cat's passion for hair shines in her creations. She specializes in creative cuts and bright colors. Beyond hair, she is devoted to her pets; two cuddly giant African millipedes that she adores caring for. You’ll never have a dull moment! Cat is your go-to stylist for an upbeat and cutting-edge transformation.
Elise
Emerging Artist

At 16 years old Elise got her first job as a salon assistant at McN Salon back in her home town of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, this began her interest in the world of hair and beauty. Now she’s a fully licensed stylist who graduated from the Douglas J Aveda Institute Chicago in 2022. She loves working with Aveda color to achieve both natural and vibrant looks. She looks forward to customizing haircuts to compliment clients looks and life styles. She has a passion for both art and people and is excited to be working as a stylist at Gordon Salon.
