Frequently Asked Questions.

How long will my highlights last?

Even though our highlights are usually done with enlightener or permanent color, eventually they will start to grow out within 4 to 8 weeks, dependent on how fast your hair grows. Your stylist will recommend a time specific to you for scheduling your next highlight appointment.

How can I save money on my color?

We have a referral program in which you refer someone and you both receive $20 off your next service. You can also talk with your stylist about lower maintenance haircuts and colors.

What if I don't know what haircut will suit me?

Our hairstylists are trained to consider face shape, features, hair type, styling needs, etc. when cutting hair. They offer a thorough consultation to give you the best look for you and your lifestyle. We are happy to assist you in finding you a style and recommend an array of Aveda products on how to maintain/style.

How do I know if I need a conditioning treatment?

Conditioning treatments can scheduled with every service and are highly recommended by our stylists for any hair type, texture, and length. The best time to schedule one is when you are getting color or highlights.

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?

That depends on the service you have scheduled. If you are hoping for a special occasion style, refer to your stylist; though typically coming with clean, dry hair works best. For hair color and haircuts, washing your hair beforehand is usually unnecessary.

If you are wanting a dry haircut, please come with clean, dry hair.

Which stylist should I see?

All of our stylists are experienced and highly education in both cut and color. We recommend speaking to one of our salon coordinators who can match you with a stylist that best suits your needs.

If I need more than one service, how should I book the appointment?

Our staff will be happy to accommodate all of your questions and needs when you book an appointment with us. If you are booking over the phone, be sure to tell the coordinator all of the services you would like to book. If booking online, please be sure to read all of the service notes provided.

What should I do if I know I am going to be late?

Please call our salon at 847.266.7777 if you are running late for your appointment. Our staff will check in with your stylist to see if you will be able to receive your full service. You can also send a text to 847.241.1188 if you cannot reach us over the phone.
