Eco Team Fee
In order for us to continue offering the same experiences you know and love, and to remain true to our mission and vision, we've come to realize that the financial implications of the pandemic have been too great for us to avoid increasing our prices any longer. Throughout the last year we have continued to strive for exceptional adherence to government mandates as well as our own commitment to environmental causes. In the process, we have maintained the same pricing structure that was in place pre-COVID as a way of doing what we could to serve our clients well and not cause undue financial strain. I must admit that without government assistance, access to the Paycheck Protection Program and other emergency assistance made available during the last year, small brick and mortar companies like ours would be gone. Although our doors remain open we still have a long road back and we hope you'll understand our decision to finally implement a 5% Eco Team fee. This 5% fee will be applied to all services performed by Gordon Salon beginning this Saturday, February 6th. As a company we intend to use this market standard 5% service fee to offset the following costs: our commitment to environmentalism (e.g. local tree afforestation, carbon positivity, Beauty Bottle Recycling Exchange, and more), ensuring the personal as well as professional wellbeing of our staff (e.g. providing a living wage and sick leave, health and retirement benefits, continuing education, and more) as well as sustained measures that ensure the safety of our staff and clients while mitigating the transmission of COVID. Thank you for your loyal patronage during these unprecedented times. We look forward to serving you well in the months and years to come.
